Phil Goldenberg

Phil Goldenberg
http://www.philgoldenberg.com/

I have met and seen Phil Goldenberg around the Guitar Foundation attendees since I first started participating in the annual convention and just recently reqauainted myself with him at the 2019 convention in Miami. He is really a wonderful talent on the guitar. His dedication to a beautiful sound is easy for a luthier to admire and that's coupled with a real inherent grasp of phrasing and all the tone colors the guitar can use in expressing it. I will be shamelessly placing one of my guitars in his hands whenever I am fortunate enough to be in his presence again. Bravo maestro!

Ethan Lorentz

It is a pleasure to have Ethan owning my guitar no. 40. It had previously played a very nice Oribe Grand Surprema, which I found to be a bit ironic in that no. 40 and 42 were built with Cocobola from Oribe's wood collection that was sold upon his retirement.

Nemanja Ostojic

Nemanja Ostoich
http://nemanjaguitar.com/

I met Nemanja on my trip to Minneapolis where we has giving a concert and masterclass as a visiting artist. Both his playing and the sound of the guitar he performed on were equally impressive and inspiration to me. A native of Serbia, Nemanja currently teaches guitar at the University of Indianapolis - a well warrented post for this guitarist. I look forward to my future interactions with him and highly recommend him as both a teacher and performer.

She imparts these qualities to her students at the University of Minnesota where she directs the guitar program. She is one of a growing list of wonderful people and guitarists I continue to meet that just happen to be from Minnesota. On September 18, 2015, I had the pleasure to visit her guitar program and present guitars 25, 27 and 28 to her students and visitors.

Austin is one of my favorite guitarists and one that I am very proud to know somewhat personally. I first met him at the 2012 Guitar Foundation Convention in Louisville. Even if you don't know what he looks like then he is easy to spot - just look for arguably the most friendly, positive person in the room and introduce yourself.

Austin currently works towards his master's degree at Eastman Conservatory in Rochester, NY.

Lorenzo Michelli

I watched Lorenzo Michelli in concert during his GFA tour my freshman year in college. His performance is easily the most memorable of its kind in my mind. He plays with finess and wears his "heart on his sleeve" when he performs.
