This is a special Osage orange guitar created from a tree that I harvested back in 2021 here in Middle Tennessee with the kind permission and help from the landowner. There is more in this guitar than I can tell and given the amount of work that I have in it, beginning with the harvesting of the tree, its first setup and testing gave me some nervousness. It deserves to be my finest instrument to date and fortunately its sound and playability warrant that claim. It is one of the most well balanced instruments I have ever built and the elasticity of Osage orange brings such a lively color and projection to the sound.

There are some pictures posted here of the guitar's most humble beginnings. It's making began the last year I was making guitars in my house on the mountain and it was finished very recently after more than a year of living back on my family farm in Bell Buckle, TN.
