Guitar No. 14 was completed for Jonathan Marshall, a dealer of classical guitars in Grand Rapids, MI. The resulting instrument was very robust and even across the entire register. It was very similar to Guitar No. 6, Erica Cha's guitar, which is good news because it followed the same design (accept the rosette and soundport). These two very beautiful sounding 640mm guitars have a slight change in the angle of the bracing to accommodate the shorter scale length and they have inspired me to try the same thing on my 650mm guitars. The next guitar posted should bring news of the results.

Guitar No. 14 features the following:

  • 640mm Scale Length
  • Indian Rosewood Back and Sides
  • Western Red Cedar Top
  • Spanish Cedar Neck
  • Tiger Maple and Purple Heart Accents
  • Ebony Fingerboard
  • Schaller Tuning Machines

It is available for purchase through Jonathan Marshall in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
